My dad is a truck driver, has been one for 38 years. When i was younger i hardly ever got to see him except for on Saturdays,so it was sorta like growing up without a father. We didnt have a close relationship but i knew he was out doing what he had to. I am 34 now and i still only get to see him on Saturdays. He loves his job and i love my dad but we dont have a normal relationship i feel like i really dont know him. But i know he loves me and he knows i love him.

My husband is a truck driver, and he is the most wonderful man in the world. He has done it long enough now that he has "paid all his dues" and has a local job, he's home every night. When he first got his CDL, our son and I wouldn't see him for 4-6 weeks at a time. He has a love/hate relationship with trucking, and is currently in college for a business degree.

the guy I am seeing is a truck driver. Luckily I work for the company he drives for so I get to see him more than probably I would if I didn't work in their office. He is usually home on the weekends some. He loves it

My uncle drove a truck for over thirty years. He loved seeing new places. Kind of hated not seeing the family though.

my dad is a truck driver and has been for as long as i could remember and it kinda sucks. he has missed out on my softball games and my b-days. this year is like the 1st time he has been home 4 my b-day.

my dad is a truck driver and i see him everyweekend and once during the week n ya he likes his job and i go with him on the truck a lot with him

uncle, long distance driver, away 4-6 weeks at a time and has done that nearly 40 yrs and has no regrets

My Dad was a truck driver & he absolutely loved it... my mum divorced him though!
