cheers for the responces but i still think shes gonna freak out so i will keep her as a freind rather than lose her.

Holding in those feelings will cause a dam up of what's really there; perhaps you could find a way to sort of `drop a hint' without being too overwhelming about it....a nice card or short letter....you will think of something, and be glad you did if the person feels the same way; and if they don't then you will be able to unblock the dam and let the flow get out to another river!

Really depends on the situation. But I agree with Josh H that a mutual friend might be the best way to go if you don't want to take risk. If possible have the friend find out if the person you are interested in feels the same about you. If not possible to use a mutual friend then ask nicely if they would like to go for a drink/food etc with you sometime if they're free. That should give you some indication of whether their interested or not before you spill your heart out.

start slow. Just ask them on a date first, and if things run smoothly, keep taking tiny baby steps in that direction. They will definitely freak out if you just out of the blue profess your undying love. Good luck! :)

Leave a note on her door with ur cell no.
Dont recieve her call for atleast 2 days and then give her/him a surprise visit with beautiful bunch of roses...and let her/him start the conversation

text messages are great in a situation that you find hard to just come out and say it and if the recipient finds it hard to take in, they have the option to think before they reply.
if they don't reply you have your answer.
