You can be a Police Officer in all states, counties and municipalities throughout America. Homeland security is a good possibility. Parole officer usually requires a bachelor's degree but there is opportunity as a probation officer. FBI and CIA are out of the question.

A degree in Criminal Justice leaves you open to numerous different areas within the field. Law enforcement, parole, security, police dispatch, some social services positions, juvenile positions... the options are endless. Personally I have my Associates in Criminal Justice and I am a supervisor for a hospital security department. I'm also a Taser Instructor, OC Spray Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, and I teach at police departments all the time. You chose a wide field to enter, the key is just finding your niche!
