Simple, take a deep breath, ask the guy if you could speak with him, privately.
Let him know that you don't normally do these thing and if the response you get is not what you are looking for, then okay.
After you have asked your question and its all good, then go foreword with plans of meeting to talk.
stay away from sex, due to you putting yourself at risk of being used, remember you are going after him.
If it does not work out:
from this day on, just be yourself, you have nothing to prove. somebody has to make the first move.
later if he comes to you and wants to get with you, cancel him out, you gave him a chance, he blew it, your not a booty call or a toy, you have feelings and you are somebody.

If you don't want to be upfront about it, then just ask him out for a coffee or a drink, just casually, just as friends and then if he likes you, he would ask you out again. That's one way of finding out if he likes you. Other ways could be, give him a note, or ask a friend to ask him if he likes you. But I think the best way is to hang out with him frist.

you could ask him what kind of girls he likes and maybe be like well could i be one of those girls ha ha no i just pulled that out of my a**. but eventually your gonna have to be upfront about it. you need to start somewhere to break out that shell cause being shy all the time isn't gonna get you much of anywhere.

first u have to make sure he likes u back if not u may just get really embarrised
some ideas r to use a friend, write a note and stick in his locker or call him on phone, but guys like it better if u ask them to thier face it shows that u got guts,courage

Shy myself actually. Met my husband by asking if he wanted to go to the movies with me and my friends. If he says yes, he is likely interested. Then, when you go out- just talk with him and smile. :) And, if he does say he can't, he might be shy too, in that case....just talk with him, smile, and talk about going out sometime later.

Don't be stupip and ask that question!!! Pay attention to him and how he relates to you. Mature people don't ask those things! Grow up and sstop using the excuse that you are "shy"........and you will know!
