You have four months. That means less than 10 lbs a month. Easy, if you can stick to your diet and exercise regimen.

Eat no more than 1500 calories a day. And try to stay away from fats. Don't eat any processed food. (That just means eating food that YOU prepare.)

Do cardio exercises for 30 minutes every day. The very best would be rowing because it uses all the muscles groups in the body, and promotes the flat abs that are so popular these days. Do NOT do more than 30 minutes exercise per day, unless you want to bulk up with muscle. (NOT very good looking on women, in my opinion.)

In order to make sure you stick to your diet with more of a will, give yourself an occasional treat...like an individual chocolate bar every Saturday night. No more than one treat size EVER. You would be surprised just how quickly you can put that 5 lbs back on, that it took you 2 weeks of hard work to lose.

EVERYONE knows what they shouldn't eat, but up-ing your protein will help you boost your metabolism. Make sure you cut starchy carbs and eat 100% whole wheat breads and try eating them with a protein to keep your system going. AND cardio exercise! But do light exercises like walking and light weight exercises for toning. Trying to jump right into a heavy workout routine will swell your muscles and frustrates some people because you may appear bigger and quit before you see the benefits! Having a goal date is also good because if you look at everything you take in think about how it will help your goal or set you back! How important is it to YOU! Oh sorry the most important H2O!!! LOTS OF IT! Good luck!!

I DONT reccomend the 6 week body make over. Yes you get great results- but you get great results with anything if you stick with it. Body make over requires you eat certain foods at certain times and its WAY to rigid to ever stick to long term- which is what keeps the weight off (sticking to it long term) I can only last 3 weeks on the make over diet because I dont want to be told what to eat every 3 hours, If i want a banana i dont want to be told "No you have to have lettuce and plain low sodium tuna" . And not many jobs allow you to take breaks right on time- and yes your results are messed up if you miss a meal or eat a different one than what youre told or if youre late eating.. Theres absolutley NO BUTTER, NO SALT, nothing processed, its VERY BLAND. I will say the exercise program on it works -which is just walking 4-5 x a week for 45 min at your target heart rate and strength training 2-4 times a week for 20 minutes.

Just cut down on calories- no less than 1500 a day and work out at least 30 min a day and youll lose.

My sister just lost 32 lbs in a similar amount of time with weight watchers. It is the only diet that allows you to eat anything, but realizes that different decisions have different consequences. Also, make sure you exercise EVERY DAY. Any amount of excercise is good for you, the more the merrier, but doing it every day will keep your body awake and increase your metabolism.

Diets do not work. 99% of people gain the weight back. Here is how it works. No one teaches the animal what to eat and what not to eat. He knows instinctively what to eat. Humans also have the same instinct. The way it works is just eat whatever tastes good and that will be healthy for you and non-fattening. That is why a baby tastes everything. So again whatever tastes good, is good for you. This is why you will spit out spoiled milk.

But wait!!! Man has the technology to create rat poison. It tastes like healthy food (good taste) but kills the rat. So man has done that to you. Note- any food unaltered by man (uncooked) that tastes good, is good for you. So if you are stranded in the woods, that is how you know what to eat (cooking changes that). So man has created fake fruit. It tastes like fruit that exists in nature but it is terrrible for health, addictive and fattening called sweets.

So it is natural to like real sweets called fruit, like a baby does, but they have fooled you just like the rat. But they do not want to kill you. They want you to become obese so you will buy lots of their foods. This is called GOOD BUSINESS. Remember the above (not on site) and see site below to re-learn how to eat so you can be thin and fit for life.

The 6 week BodyMakeover diet. The one they used on Extreme Makeovers on tv. I went on it years ago, and it was the only thing that made sense and worked. You eat alot! but you still lose weight that is replaced with great muscle tone!! Try it!
