I don't really know how to answer that. For me, if I am spiritual in any way, it's because I do in some fashion believe in something that we might as well call a 'spirit' or 'soul'. Even if it's just the natural biochemical energy by which living things continue their existence. I do believe that there is something that seperates people (and animals) from, say, stones, and I believe that that thing is worth exploring.

I do not believe in the supernatural, but I do believe that the 'soul' may have properties or abilities that science has yet to discover. In any case, ı consider it a topic worth exploring.

That might not be much of a spirituality but it's all I've got!

I commune with God. I talk to him and, at times at least, listen for him. I'm aware of myself and am touched by other people and by other things: the geese feeding on the campus lawn, the patterns of the clouds, a brilliant sunset, the night raindrops falling underneath the light of a street lamp.

As a Christian, I've invited Jesus into my life and accept him as my Lord, Savior, and Big Brother.

I believe we're all spiritual beings. Unfortunately, many of us are spiritually dead or spiritually dormant--or spiritually deceived.

it begins with love of self .. loving who you are in your entirety ... learning from the past
if you can love yourself you can begin to love others unconditionally
appreciation of this life and all it holds
taking a moment before acting on anything .. being aware of your actions
being non judgemental
being helpful and understanding
being an ear when it is needed .. and a voice when it is needed
being spiritual is not being religious .. although on the odd occasion it can go together wonderfully
