this is what the bible says about it:

Matt. 21: 15, 16

.....But when the chief preists and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He had done (previous verse Jesus Jesus healed the blind and lame men), and the children who were crying out in the temple saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they became indignant,

and they said to Him, "Do you hear what these are saying?" And Jesus said to them, "Yes; have you never read, 'Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babes thou hast prepared praise for thyself'?"

We are all born atheist, that is without any belief in god[s]. Every belief system is taught to us as children, the base belief that there is a god is taught to most everyone, even those who don't attend church, or religious meetings.

Arabs don't typically grow up to be Christians.. and Europeans don't typically grow up to be Muslims...

It's conditioning. The parable of the horse with it's tail where it's head aught to be.....

Well, if we're born with the knowledge of Christianity, why is so much of the world dominated by other religions?

Yes, if you do not teach children about God then they will not "know" God.But I believe they will eventually search for meanings and facts. But the same goes for teaching reading. If I do not teach my child to read they will be illeterate.

The Bible is just a book of make believe stories.

Only the week minded would believe in such rediculous tales.

Why don't you ask an uninitiated 2 year old who Jesus is... and see what answer you get...

The god concept is like all others: it must be taught to be learned.

If you think that anyone is born with knowledge about anything then you are either lying to yourself, or you are a moron.

The Bible says the darndest things...

Without being told otherwise, babies will not believe in God. It's thus the natural state of things.

Agnosticism is the natural state of the human mind.

I don't believe children have a religion unless they are raised with it.
