If I ran off from you then why should I waste postage for a postcard for you ?
Don't you think that postage is expensive now a days ?

First of all you are assuming 4 things :
1. I am married to you
2. I ran off
3. Then I won a big lottery
4. After running off I am still married to you
Why a postcard ? If this is the case then i will urge you to come on a magnificient dream date with me (and tell you the purpose too when I invite you) where we can attempt to reconcile our differences together by discussions WITHOUT any coersion, pressure, domination, bribery ....
In that date if you scold me or blast over me then I will try my best to keep quiet, listen to you, soothe you, pat your shoulders to calm you down, cajole you somehow so that our most essential rational discussion for that day (or evening or night) can resume.
I will try my level best that this entire episode will come to a happy ending for both of us on mutually agreeable terms.
