ah . They will say that the bible is literal except where it isn't!this is one of those non literal moments. They will say it means wealthy as most people had enough money to feed themselves to stop from being hungry. those who are wealthy, in cash terms or piousness, can afford the extra needed to be fat. But then if this means wealthy in whatever form you wish to read into this quote, then what happens about the more chance getting a camel though the eye of a needle than a wealthy man entering the kingdom of heaven. Ooops, not a contradiction.

Proverbs 28:25 reads "Selfishness only causes trouble. You are much better off to trust the Lord."

Nope. I'm thin as a twig. But I suppose that makes sense in this case, since I scorn the kind of blind faith where you leave all of your decisions up to God.

Plus, you know. I'm not a Christian.

... Oh my gods! The secret to attractiveness is Paganism!

Odd. I have absolutely no trust in any lord, yet I am a bit overwieght. (6'0, 240) Wonder how that happened? Is that not fat enough to be this trust-fat they speak of?

I looked at this to see whether the question is even in the appropriate category. I suppose that it is. I am a bit overweight, but I assure you that it has much more to do with overeating than with religion.
