go to petfinders.com....this is a site for rescue groups....just enter your Zip code, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!....i adopted a Great Pyrenees mix from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!....check it out ....try it....do a good deed....adopt a bird today !!....good luck in your search, for a bird as a pet !!!! check petfinders.com, which has a great assortment of birds to adopt !!!!

hey! i know you! well not really, you were the person who wanted my tiel if no one wanted it! creepy, i know. lol, but you might want to check the papers. if you live in western NY then i suggest checking the papers, there are lots of people trying to get rid of animals. or go to the spca or if you live by in go to markheims they have tiels, conures, quakers, english budgies, keets, finches, and canaries. www.markheim.com

Morris the Cat is right ... please adopt. But do your homework. Birds are not the easiest companions to take care of.
