I met a guy called stuart in a club some 6 months ago, he was a friend of a friend and everybody commented on how in to me he was, he insisted that i came to his flat with his friends. He was the sweetest, nicest guy ever and before i left that night he left his number with me and told me hed love to take me out for dinner, problem is i had feeling for my x which i explained to him. He continued to call every so often for 2 months, still asking me out. My x tried to get back with me but it didnt work out, since then i have been trying to pluck up the courage to call stuart but im scared he might think im rude after not calling for so long, i really think i missed my chance, whats it from a male point of view?

Sure. Call him. What have you got to lose?

Male point of view: call him, but make up an excuse about losing his number, etc. He'll want to believe you because he'll feel flattered.

DO NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT THE EX! I'm serious. If you called me up and mentioned the ex thing, I'd immediately think "so she tried it with her ex and that didn't work out and I'm second on the list."

Forget what the female answers say here. No man wants to be though of as second choice!

Life is short. You havent really kept in touch but i would say just go for it. If he still likes you you may find he'll chat to you for a wee while and you could arrange to meet up agian but sadly i'd have to say it may be too late. Give it a try anyway what have you got to lose. Good Luck...

I'll tell you from a married womans point of view. I say call him, as a friend first. say you had been thinking of him but lost his number and you found it that day. whats he doing on the weekend and does he want to get together.
You only live once and I think if you don't call him you will always wonder what if. you have nothing to lose!!

call him, i know i'm not a guy but if you don't call him you'll definately have missed your chance like 100% certainty. If you do call him there is still some chance so take the risk and get on the phone

Be honest we guys are not stupid as girls might think. It looks like he respected you. So call him and tell him your relationship with your ex but also tell him you and your ex have come to an ending conclusion and you'll be more than happy to go out with him.

You are correct you missed your chance.

But should you stop and leave it there? NOOOOO

Just call him up and ask if he would like to hang out with you as friends first and let it go from there. Hope this helped

Why not call him? The absolute worst that can happen is that he says no. Unless you promised to call then it would not be considered rude.

If he kept asking for two months despite knowing you were hung up on your 'x' he is desperate for you, you have good reason to be arrogant, call him.

you should call when you know he's not going to be at his phone and then leavea short message saying that you wanted to say hi. if he calls back, and asks you out, then you're off to the races.
