it may seem that way but they r doing this because they constanly worry about u. A saying I once heard is "U start worring about your kids from the start of when they r born to when they die."They just want the best for u. I know same old sayings. My mom has always said to me "When u r a parent u will understand." I soppose we will never truly understand untill we to r parents. Untill then deal & enjoy for even they don't live forever.

GOOD parents get in the way so their naive young children dont' make misteaks that might ruin or horribly effect their life...also these stupid teens WILL thank their parents one day for keeping them from these bad things that the teens can't see the bad in!! so think twice b4 you ask silly questions...parents love their children and most only want what's best for them...!!

Sometimes they don't always know when to let go of the apron strings. It's helpful to have a chat of the type 'Mum, Dad, thank you for bringing me up but I am old enough to make my own decisons now'.
Am 33, live away and still have the occasional dilemma!

Chances are you're doing something they don't approve of. And they have every right to tell you what they think and force you to live by their rules until you are 18. That's just life. They are probably just worried about your well-being. Give 'em a break.

Depends what you are doing. Normally it because they don't want you to get hurt or maybe because they have lived a shallow life and don't want you to do anything they didn't do.
