Because of the genetic ramifications.
If they marry and have children, they have been proven to have many genetic malformations.
Not to mention the moral implications...

There are (or were) cultures that not only condoned brother-sister marriage, the demanded it in their Royalties. The ancient Egyptians practiced it, as did the Hawaiians and the Samoans. It didn't work so well for the Romanovs, though, and that's the most often cited horror of incest
Of course, all Royalty is incestuous because of the injunction against marrying outside Royalty.

Sisters and brothers usually have an instinctive aversion to having sex with each-other.
This is an evolutionary adaptation to avoid inbreeding.
Inbreeding greatly increases the chances that defective genes will combine to form a defective baby.

If siblings marry each other their offspring can have health problems do to imbreeding and it would be kinda wierd to explain that your mom and dad are brother and sister meaning your dad is also technically your uncle as well

because they now call it incest. Even tough it was practiced for thousands of years. To keep bloodlines true.
Also how were we created if brother's and sister's did not marry...There supposedly was only Adam and eve? The world got populated some how did it not?
So if that is true we are ALL product of incest

it is just wrong. even non-christians would probably agree it is just wrong. most people think cousins marrying is too much...
why would you want to marry your brother/sister??
only ancients married cousins and siblings, either with royalty or in populating the planet.... but we are not having a population problem, the royals are already screwed up enough, and really it is just gross...

Because it is forbidden by the laws of Consanguinity and Affinity. It's also freakishly unnatural to be sexually attracted to one's siblings - apart from the fact that any babies produced by such a union would look like a creature from the Planet Zaaki.

To reduce the chance of defective offspring. If there is a bad recessive gene in each of the siblings, it could be inherited by a child, and result in a defect. Genes from unrelated people are much less likely to have a common defect.

Any possible weakness in the family blood line, even way back, is likely to surface in the children.
The same when breeding animals. That's why, only "pure breds" are ever inbred. The blood lines are recorded and kept pure.
