i asked how i can get my girlfriend back.Now who thinks even if we're not together we should still be best friends.we were and the first place and it got to be more.now we're broken up.Shes really cool and awesome to hang out with.I need a second opinion.

It's totally up to you. But not just you. It could and probably will be weird, especially if you've been close.
One of the hardest things to accept in life is that not all friendships will last, for whatever reason.
If you think you can be just friends, go for it, but this is likely to depend on the reason you broke up in the first place, and how things were left between you.
Just remember, you can never have too many friends!

You are the best analysist of this situation as you are the one in it. Do you like her? Do you want her to be a part of your life? If you're not together, then there was an issue and you two are not a good couple. But if you care about her, about your friendship, and want it, then go for it. If you won't be able to handle it emotionally, then let it go.

you're the guy that lost his gf because of her parents right?...im the guy who told you to give up....well anyway...when you become friends with you will only want to do things you have done in the past like nothing has ever happened...and maybe you guys will be 'friends with benefits' because her parents won't let her have a 'boyfriend' so technically you arent doing anything wrong when morally you know you are....but you wont care because you will be happy because you got what you wanted...and thats her back in your life...while you have all of that you will probably forget about her feelings about hiding the 'relationship' and that's when things will start to crumble.....but anyway....good luck.....

I think you should still be friends. though when she does get another boyfriend, stay out of it. Just be cool like kelso on that 70's show when Jackie and hyde was going out. so stay friends.
