ppl tell me this all the time?

to be me..but his doesn't seem to work for any guy.

ok, so i ride bus 1 to high school and there's a boy that rides the same bus. well, everyday he sits w/ his friends in the back of the bus..there's like 3 or 4 of them that pick on me but it's mainly him. 2day, i was sitting near the front of the bus and he was sitting near the back. he kept saying my name in this weird way..like someone evil or something. he's done the same thing for the past week. he sais my name in that weird way or like a really lound whisper and then he jupms down in the seat to hide hiself...i always end up laughing....he says my name like 10 or more time on the half hour bus ride.
Here's the problem- I don't know if he likes me or what. i'm about afraid to ask b/c ppl talk a lot at the school..and i don't want to be embarassed--me a freshman and he's a sophmore.
I think he's real cute and I like him but I'm afraid to say anything. I see hime walking down the hall with other girls not just one.
HELP PLZ!

People tell you "If you want to get a guy just be yourself" but this does not seem to work "for any guy". Baby, you don't want just "any guy". You don't want a guy just to have a boyfriend. You want a boyfriend who is going to respect you for who you are and who is going to appreciate the different aspects of your personality. That is not "just any guy". That is a very special guy and it may take a while of you just being yourself before you come across that guy. Do not try to be someone your not just to attract a mate. Believe everyone who is older than you and cares about you when they tell you that method will end up in disaster for your psyche and your heart.

Now, about this boy on the bus. Okay, he is attractive, okay, he makes you laugh. Those are definitely pluses. But here is the thing Baby. I'm concerned about a boy who has such little confidence dealing with females that he has to resort to silly "whisper name" games on the bus in order to get a female's attention. You should have a boy who knows how to communicate because if he does not know how to communicate he will not be a good boyfriend. You should also have a boy who knows how to approach you correctly. The boy on the bus is not that boy. That said, if you like him and you want to go for him . . .
When I was in highschool ( a LONG time ago) freshman were tenth graders. I know now in some places high school begins in nineth grade. So when you say you are a freshman I don't know if you mean you go to Junior high and you are in 7th grade and he is in 8th grade or if you go to high school and you are in 10th grade and he is in 11th grade. So I'm going to give two suggestions.

Do you know his name? The next time you get on the bus, when he starts saying your name in the silly whisper, start saying his name. How old are you? If you are in junior high do it this way . . .

When he whispers "Suzanne" in that evil tone, you whisper "Steve" in as evil a tone as you can. Every time he whispers "Suzanne" you immitate him but you whisper "Steve". He will understand that you are enjoying his little game and it might give him the confidence that he needs to approach you directly.

If you are in high school do it this way;
When he starts whispering "Suzanne", you whisper "Steve" but do not whisper "Steve" in an evil tone. Instead whisper Steve as if you are doing a sex scene in a movie and "Steve" is the character name of your co-star. But don't whisper "Steve" as if you are having an orgasmic time, whisper "Steve" as if he is not satisfying you. "Steve, that's the wrong hole.", "Steve, I'd don't feel anything.", "Steve, are you done already?", "Steve, you said it was longer.". You will have that bus in TEARS with laughter and you will show that boy that he is not the only one who can play teasing games. He'll be embarrassed but he will LOVE the attention.

Good luck. And listen to those people who keep telling to you be yourself. I notice you did not make too many spelling or grammar mistakes so you must be a pretty smart young lady. I'm sure you have wonderful personality assets to which a special guy would be attracted.

i like my guys weird, but he sounds like he's just a jerk. just be careful if you like him and do anything about it, cos guys who are always surrounded by girls are as they are for a reason. aka: they do that to everyone else, they treat every other girl like you.

spy on him some more before you make a decision whether you like him or not. i did that in my sophmore year, me and my friend jill just sneaking around... ahh the good times. you can learn a lot about him by just watching, plus it'll just intrigue him more if he catches you acting suspicious but not saying anything. the key here is to play uninterested, but secretly be interested.
anyways, if he's picking on you he's immature and probably not worth the time. ...he could be interesting though i guess. just be cautious and make sure you know who he is before you start asking around.

yeah well you should def just come out and ask him if he likes you or something. you don't have to be too serious about it....just make it work. be like "you must like me if you can't stop saying my name" and see how he responds. just talk, it's the best thing you can do. tell him that you think he's cute or something. let him know that you could like him more than a friend.

I'm a freshman too and a lot of guys do that to me but they never liked me. i think he is just trying to make you think he likes you. i remember when i was in the 7th grade this really cute guy always said my name weird and he would always say will you go out with me. i said yes and he started laughing and said i was kidding. i was so embarrassed. i think the guy that is doing that to you is messing with you.

He could just be a player careful on that, if you want him to leave you alone just ignore him and if you like him well play hard to get, guys always like a challenge and you should never seem to eager.

im thinking he likes you and is trying to get your attention. If you catch him alone ask him if he would like to hang out sometime- just you and him. His buddies probably are the influence of the bad sort, so aviod direct contact while he is aroundthem.

Just do something back to him, or ask him if he is flirting with you in a sarcastic way. See his reaction and act on that. I think he probably likes you

ok, i'll let u in on a secret..... teenage boys are dumbasses!!
even if he does like you he would probably say he didn't so to look good in front of his equally stupid adolescent friends.
Then you'd probably feel worse.
if i were you i'd treat him the way he treats you, dont be petty, but be ironic and sarcastic- always good, as boys tend not to understand these things.
for example if some1 says "wot u lookn at" simply reply "dunno s*hit aint labelled".
