I guess it was the tacos...

anyway,
It seems like people have gotten to the point of relying on a small group of people to come up with good, thought-provoking questions here.

There'll always be the Jim Darwins of the world who are particularly good at this, but...

... how about everyone try to come up with their own good question that really digs deep or strikes at the heart of some question?

Ask a question about what's been bugging YOU lately.
Maybe about how your beliefs are misunderstood, or what you don't understand about the beliefs of others?

Now, where did I put that air freshener?

I told you. The taco. I'm glad you feel better. I try to ask some thought provoking questions but it seems people get ticked off or I get no responses. I don't mind though. I have always been considered strange by the masses.

Philosophically, On this web site, do we really need a small group of people to come with good thought provoking questions or are we just throwing sh*t at a window and seeing what sticks?
However, the key driver is undoubtedly intellectual arrogance,
and I am as guilty as the next guy.

To me, what is apparent, is that there is a couple of subjects that are powerfully emotive, and negative answers inspire the positive and vice versa from both camps..it is a self fulfilling prophecy.

What is bugging me though, is are we just playing "Round and round in circles like a teddy bear" by continuous asking questions we know can not be solved.

The repitition is starting to get infuriating. I find I am actually enjoying the more innocent and technical questions about faith and science than the rants: no one will ever win

p.s. you gotta watch out for voodoo tacos in future!

Belief is usually defined as a conviction to the truth of a proposition without its verification, therefore it is a subjective mental interpretation of the perception results, own contemplation/reasoning or communication.

Reasoning is defined very differently depending on the context of the understanding of reason as a form of knowledge. The logical definition is the act of using reason to derive a conclusion from certain premises using a given methodology, and the two most commonly used explicit methods to reach a conclusion are deductive reasoning and inductive reasoning. However, within idealist philosophical contexts, reasoning is the mental process which informs our imagination, perceptions, thoughts, and feelings with whatever intelligibility these appear to contain; and thus links our experience with universal meaning. The specifics of the methods of reasoning are of interest to such disciplines as philosophy, logic, psychology, and artificial intelligence.

Belief is possible without reason. Can one reason without first believing?

Circular? Yes. True? That depends on what you BASE your beliefs on.

You can have that one if you like. I think it is too deep for most (90% or more) on Y answers.

Why are so many people so hostile for absolutely no reason at all? And do they realize they are making whatever beliefs they are promoting look bad when they attack others?

Your question has provoked a thought inside of me: well, you can try to turn this website into a forum.

But this is not a forum. I suggest you to look at yahooQA-rules once more.

And your real question is?

*yawn*
