i dont know what a "tint" brush actually is and where i could get one

a brush used to apply color. don't get that on your hands - it will take forever to get off. (it's been known to stay on hands longer than hair)
you can purchase one at a beauty supply store. a small paint brush (thin and narrow) will work, but you will end up using twice as much color (the brush will soak it up).

A tint brush is a thin brush that sort of looks like a paint brush with stiff bristles. You can usually pick them up in drug stores or anywhere that you can buy manic panic.

hi sup a tint brush is something you wipe in ur hair to put the color in...lol! you can get one at a hair salon.
