Okay Maximus!! Have you ever had a "Born-Again" experience? Obviously not!! So, how dare you, put down Gods word!! I think you need to read the bible more, and quit critisizing it, so much, as well as all you other "Atheists" out there!! Its as real as you are!! And until you've experienced the most "Awesome Experience" this Life will ever offer you, you cant sit there and Knock-it!! For those of us who have, you'll never be the same again!! And no one can tell you God isn't real after this experience!! Its not linked to the Government, nor is it linked to man!! Except through experience!!! Alot of you skeptics, say the bible was written by the Government!! Blah-Blah,Blah!!! See, thats why you need to have a "Born-Again" experience, because, no Government officials can tell your soul how you feel Gods Holy Spirit, within your very being!! Heart, soul & mind !!! No Government gave that to me, only thee Omnipotent Almighty God Himself, gave that to me!! So, yes, a Man can be Born-Again!! I'm sorry I read all your other answers first, and some of these people can be so "Rude" especially that Maximus guy!! I just felt the need to defend your question.. God will Bless you, for witnessing!! Smile!!!

John 3: 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

To be "born again" is after the resurrection. Jesus said very plainly that we are flesh, when we are born again we will be spirit and we will have a body composed of spirit, like Jesus has now. We have to "put on" immortality, it's not something that we already have within us.

Can any of us see Angels for example? No we can't because we have not yet been "born" of the spirit at the resurrection. That is why Jesus said that unless we are born again we can not see the Kingdom of God.

If you truly want to be born again by God's Spirit then pray this simple prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ, I know I have sinned in my thoughts, words and actions.

There are so many good things I have not done.
There are so many sinful things I have done.

I am sorry for my sins and turn from everything I know to be wrong.

You gave Your life fo rme upon the cross, and so gratefully I give my life back to You,

Now I ask You to come into my life.

Come in as my Saviour to cleanse me
Come in as my Lord to control me.

And I will serve you all the remaining years of my life in complete obedience.
Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer sincerely from your heart,
then God has heard your prayer, and He has put His Holy Spirit to indwell in you.

In a multitude of ways...I think that there are many occasions in life that give us the opportunity to be 'born again'. When my daughter was born I had that kind of experience. Again when I divorced her father.
And I can think of a other times that I woke up the same old me and went to bed someone different ...Experiences (in my opinion) are meant to alter our perception of who we are at core levels.
When I was in Jr. High one of my friends mom's was a 'born again Christian' and one evening I accepted Jesus into my heart and immediately I felt a rush of emotions & energy flow thur me - it was very powerful. However, I will say that other events in my life have caused me to be profoundly changed in even greater ways than this experiecnce.

Obviously a man cannot physically be born again. This is a reference to being born again of the spirit. According to the bible Christians become a "new creature" in God.

the same way first man was born.
Allah (God) Sid in the Holy Quran:

[78] And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his own (origin and) Creation: he says, "Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)?"

[79] Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is well-versed in every kind of creation!

[80] "The same Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! ye kindle therewith (your own fires)!

[81] "Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof? "Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme of skill and knowledge (infinite)!

Believe in some God.

If the Bible is too hard for you ti believe in, it's OK - you can believe in God without the Bible.

It makes sense that there is God.
