A fuse is a safety device, designed to interrupt electrical current when an overload happens.
For example, lets say something inside the TV shorts out. Worst case scenario here without the fuse is that all the current available (15 amps here in Canada) would flow through the TV, which would burst into flames, which is never a good thing.
People are constantly confusing a symptom of a problem with the problem itself, (sort of like treating a nasty cough with syrup when what you really have is bronchial pneumonia!) A constantly blowing fuse is a symptom of a problem. Since your fuse isn't blown (your still getting power) something else is wrong.
You need a service shop. Is it under warranty? Look in the yellow pages under TV Service for people authorized for Phillips.

not a fuse it's a power converter and it needs to be replaced by a
qualified tv tech, some are cheap at 100 bucks and some are very expensive ( sony xbr's can run up to 200 bucks ) installed wrong takes out the circuit board and then you need a new tv. if tv is older than 5 years old get a new tv with sd ready technology, they will be changing signal after the first of the year. ( sd is standard digital )

theres a fuse on the plug if its gone then youd have nothing also theres a few fuses inside, but id stay out of there as youd be nice n crispy if you touched the wrong thing as theres 13kvolts in there even when its off.
it sounds like a components gone inside and needs to be replaced by an engineer or you could just buy a new tv, as the price to repair it could be the same price as a new one.

thats is in no way a problem with a fuse. it soundslike you have a bad capacitor in the horizontal section or an arcinf flyback transformer. By the way engineers design TVs, they dont fix them because if they did they would realize how retarded some of their designs are
