she is at 61 days, heavey panting, cold chills, licking her butt alot, not moving around like she normally does?........Please for crying outloud, if you cant answer with some sense of kindness, then DONT F***ING answer at all.....ty

thanks to anyone who helps me with this...she has a HUGE house, we are going to stay outside by her side tonight....normally how long will it take to see the first pup? again thank you all

It sounds like she is in labor. What usually happens after they come out of the birth canal, the dog will break the amniotic sac and eat the placenta. That is perfectly normal. Just stay by her, and dont offer any helping hand. If she seems like she is in distress (puppy is stuck or she seems to be pushing and nothing is coming out) call your vet right away and they will instruct you on what to do. Good Luck!!!

She's starting. Just keep an eye on her. You're going to have a long night but some puppies in the morning!

Sounds like she's starting - don't let her out unsupervised, stay close to her in case she needs (or wants) help, and show her her whelping box (in a quiet room) so she can start nesting and get comfortable in it.
