It may sound like a silly question but it could actually have been genuine. You could have wanted to know if your tea has brewed perfectly because some people don't actually know how to achieve a perfect cup of tea. I'm probably one of them. We even had a cookery lesson when I was at school completely dedicated to making a cup of tea. There is an art to it!
As another person said, it's amazing that there doesn't seem to be a problem with all the sexually offensive and racist questions that remain posted while questions that actually do have a degree of validity get taken off for no apparent reason! Maybe the staff, or the people who are silly enough to report these questions, should wake up and er, smell the coffee.

NO CHATTING OR PERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS: You may meet friends or other interesting people on Yahoo! Answers with whom you’d like to engage in personal correspondence. If so, please use the chat option on your profile page, rather than use Yahoo! Answers itself. Questions that are chatty, or attempts to engage others in personal communications, will be removed. Some examples of questions that do not comply with the Yahoo! Answers Community Guidelines are below. These are just a few examples, and we reserve the right to change, remove, or add to the list at any time, without notice:
How are you?
Anyone want to chat?
What’s your name?
How old are you?
Do you like my avatar?
What time is it?
Who here likes steak?
How many points do you have?
Who likes Britney Spear
I guess this is considered as personal chit chat.
Is the tea brewed yet?
LOL

Well, I am not surprised, as it was the same with me earlier this week when I asked 'If people who worked in offices suffered Monday Morning Blues'?
The panel must all get round the table on Tuesday/Wednesday to discuss violation notices because it took them two days to decide that mine was considered to be a violation as it was deemed not be a question.

It's simply an example of the muppetry that goes on - some pretty outrageous stuff gets through the net, but if you mention the word f*g it will get deleted. Put it down to the rather odd preocupations of the US watchdogs

Not surprised they took your question off - you tea would have been totally stewed, cold and disgusting after 2 days!
Oh, and did you make enough tea for everyone on Yahoo? If you did not, you are not being fair on all of us!

I think to be deleted some idiot has to report you. I can't imagine why someone would report that. Unless they have no life whatsoever.
'Do you think the tea has brewed?' is blatently a question.

Over zealousness, would seem to be the answer. How ridiculous. Yet, racist, homophobic, sexist, violent questions seem to get through.
Enjoy your tea, and rest easy - there are more tea-lovers out here.
Excuse me, the kettle is boiling ...........

I do not think that you putting "do you think the tea has brewed?" should have been removed.

One of the other ladies who writes here, is thinking that it might be a scam and the return address on which you click could have a virus.
