Using the name of "Jesus Christ" as an oath has been common for centuries, but the precise origins of the letter H in the expression Jesus H. Christ are obscure. Whilst many explanations have been proposed, some serious and many humorous, the most widely accepted derivation is from the divine monogram of Christian symbolism, IHC or IHS. One factor in the transmutation of the monogram into the expression Jesus H. Christ may be that when the first syllable of the phrase "Jesus Christ" is strongly emphasised (as some speakers of some English accents may do when cursing), the rhythm suggests a missing middle syllable between "Jesus" and "Christ". The H may have been adopted from the monogram to fill this gap. It might also come from "Jesus Holy Christ".

"Jesus H. Christ" never existed until it was brought up in one of "The Matrix" movie. If Jesus Christ had a middle name, it would have been mentioned in the Bible, but it is not mentioned in the Bible, so Jesus Christ does not have a middle name. However, I and most Christians believe that he "H" menas "HOLY," so the people who say "Jesus H. Christ" mean the say "Jesus holy Christ," which is another way people take God's name in vain.

You're not supposed to say Jesus Christ! so someone decided that if they put a letter in between then they really wouldn't be taking the lords name in vain. Another one I've heard is Jimminy Cricket!

I have actually heard people say it is Harold. I know it sounds funny... but i have heard "Jeasus Harold Christ!" as an expression. I do believe the H was slang, and the christians declared the H stood for "Holy".

I am the Lord your God, thou shalt not use the name of the Lord in vain. This is the second Commandment.

You should never ever say His name unless you are talking to Him directly.

H. is for Holy.
