I live in BC....We have wonderful vineyards that produce outstanding wines.
One of my favorites is a Chardonnay, called Sonora Ranch, by Mission Hill it is made in Westbank, BC.
Another white wine made by Oak Bay VIneyards in Kelowna is called Gewurtzraminer and quite nice.
Domaine d'Or is made in Port Moody, BC and also a good wine.
Proprietor's Reserve Selection, made in the Peller Estates in Port Moody is a fine Merlot that I serve often .
Can you tell I like our local wines ?????? The quality is just as good as some of the good wines I had from France, Germany, California, Portugal, Spain....Comes down to individual tastes, I guess...As for the value, being local, I find them quite affordable but don't know about the rest of the country or if they are exported...I sure hope so because they deserve to be discovered!
Have you ever heard of our Canadian Ice Wine ??

I have tried various wineyard's Icewine from BC, Canada. Obviously, they were no comparison to the German Eiswein. However, for the price of around US$ 20 to 30 for a 500ml bottle, it is much more reasonable then their German counterpart which usually runs around US$60 to 150 for the same size bottle.

I would rate the Canadian Icewine with an overall quality of average with good value.
