They are called "*********.e.s." don't know why. It sounds cruel and mean.... Used by breeders to refer to female dogs. Used by everyone else to refer to a woman who is pushy, loud and mean. Modern women are conflicted about whether ********* is an insult or not. Lesbians say it stands for "Babe In Total Control of Herself" but that's just because they are called *********.e.s twelve times a day and they had to come up with something. ********* is also used by inmates when referring to new male brides. Men in mainstream society have borrowed the term, and may call any other male they have successfully dominated "their *********."

Why couldn't they call their females something like...Jills, or something else that other females of other species...I don't think there are any other females called *********.e.s. in a species....

The word ***** was used to refer to a female dog before it was used to refer to a rude (or whatever) woman. It's definition is a female dog, but in recent years it has come to be an insult. It's not rude when it refers to the animal.

There is nothing wrong with the word, it is the correct technical term. Just like "cow" "sow" "hen" and other female animal names, it is used by hateful people as derogatory terms towards women. It is people who make the word ugly, the word itself is not ugly.

As I look at my girls, I think that the word ***** defines many positive characteristics: beauty, loyalty, sweetness, motherhood, caring etc. If you have a female dog in your home, consider all the good things she is. That is what "*****" means.......

Uh, female dogs were "bitches" before the word had any other meaning. That's where the word came from, the original definition before it was ever considered a bad word.

A male is a dog, a female is a bit ch.

They do not have another name. That is even what it says in the dog show catalogs. They call it out loud "Can I have the open
bit ches in order please"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go to dog shows and you will get to hear it lots!!! Totally proper name!!
