The rape, torture and death of your own people, being driven from your home, fear, anger, frustration, starvation, injusice, bigotry, religious repression and fanaticism. Of course this can be fomented as well by those in power, and it often is. All these factors are present and accounted for in most theologies except in those which don't believe that the negative is real. Remember, one person's terrorist is another person's savior and freedom fighter. It just depends which side of the fence you are on. I don't believe for a minute that whoever or whatever originally gave birth to all this mess is on anyones side, so unfortunately its up to us to straighten it out or not.

Religious fanaticism, intolerance, ignorance, stupidity, isolation, racism.... Refusal of countries to separate church from state...brainwashing of people from time they are born....
That'll do it.
