No. Although it dilates the blood vessels (which is how it cures glaucoma) it's the smoke that causes heart disease, by restricting the airflow.
If you ate it the reduction in your stress levels and the dilation effect might do some good. But you'd risk serious food poisoning, as the temp you'd have to cook it at to kill the germs would destroy the active ingredient.
Its available as a pill so would be interesting to know if that has this effect.

Nah fraid not..... smoking is pretty bad.. the marijuana part on it's own may have qualities that can help the heart but the smoking bit causes hardening of the arteries and artherschlerosis (little fatty bits) when these break up or get clogged they cause a heart attack.....(SO DON'T SMOKE)

Recent studies demonstrate the answer is yes. Marijuana lowers blood pressure, reduces arterial constriction, minimally lowers cholesterol, and most significantly, reduces stress, which is the number one contributor to most heart disease around the world.

It is smoke that causes heart disease, by restricting the airflow. So smoking marijuana would do more harm than good, to the heart.

No. Or, at least there are no studies to show this. and there probably never will be.
If you insist on taking THC (in the form of marijuana) I suggest you ingest it. There are many recipes out there other than brownies and the books are perfectly legal to buy (though you might arouse some suspicion). My suggestion, take it in small doses infrequently and you might escape the problems it can cause.

Of course it won't prevent heart disease or everyone would be smoking it!!!! Smoking anything, in general will clog up the arteries.
