There is a truth to that line from the "Charge of the Goddess" that states, "As long as that which you seek is not within, then shall you not find it." The mystic's quest to encounter the divine propels the mystic forward to encounter the divine. Yet, if historical evidence is anything, it appears that the unspeakable realization of the divine comes only when the mystic has exhausted all his efforts; leapt into the Abyss where all understanding of ideas, things, and even self is lost; and completely surrendered to his fate. In this Void, the Great Blessing comes.

It all depends on people's mind set. Some believe there is nothing that can't be touched felt or proven. Then, some people could be considered to be "damaged". They might know that a spiritual realm could exist, but they have so much trauma of some kind connected to the idea that they don't persue it.

I've seen and talked to people in both situations.

Who said I wouldn't as I do. I seek HIM out every moment that I live. I want to be spiritually connected to HIM and HIS love and protection. HE is the one that decides all that happens. HE is the only one who knows what will happen, so therefore anyone who rejects HIS center being of truth, is sorely losing the joy, love, peace, etc.................peace & love

Lack of evidence, and there is joy, peace, and love in accepting the truth that there is no spirit.
