Do you mean an immunization? There are plenty of drugs to treat the symptoms.

Yes! there is! it's a microbactriacial (Sp?) cream that they are hoping to be using in the next few years. However I hear they are giving it out in some of the African countries, because the women use it. And it gives them the choice between getting aids and not getting aids. Especially young woman as there is a strongheld myth that if a man is infected with HIV, all he needs to do is have sex with a virgin and he will be healed and for some stupid reason child rape still goes on. Anyways, woman are not allowed to say no, but this cream gives them the freedom to say no to getting HIV infection. Bill Gates has funded this research and more development and I say YES!

there is no cure and the people who say there is but its politics holding it back are full of **** and dont know anything about medicine. most of the drugs are generic anymore so the drug companies arent making any money off of treating people. viral diseases are very hard to treat because viruses are simple and too biochemically similar to humans to be able to exploit with drugs. thats why there isnt a cure for the common cold either. we have limited success with some viruses like the flu viruses, and maybe in the future there will be something for HIV but i highly doubt there is already. if there was they would take it to market because its worth billions if not trillions
the drugs are getting good enough though that people are living +20 years with the virus, it doesnt mean certain death like it did in the 1980s

There are meds to take for the symptoms of HIV/AIDS to help control the other problems that could come from the immune deficiencies. But other than taking something to prevent the disease, I think that I heard something on Good Morning America but it still has about to have clinical trials and then be approved by the FDA. And, that could take years.
