If one believes in Satan, then one has to believe that there is a God. Satan is considered a fallen angel. However, if you believe in a god of the underworld (as in Greek Mythology) than that is different. I believe that if you believe in Satan as it pertains to the Abrahamic tradition you might find some power in feeling comfort that you are worshiping something you think you believe in. Powers as in, X-Men like stuff is unlikely, but power can be transferred emotionally and spiritually. If power is but energy, you may feel the energy to continue Satan's wrath here on Earth; for if you worship him then it is likely you believe in him and his doings. You may even feel to a call to emulate the evil that is his being.

No, people are deceived by Satan into thinking that he will give them some reward of some kind after death. They cannot benefit from worshipping him, nor by behaving evil, nor trying to trip up a believer.

Though it is their mission to mislead us to thinking that we are wasting our time and energy, we know that only God will reward us with everlasting life in the end.

Satan deceives us to believe that he is the answer, but even he knows better than that. He uses people to do his evil work, then laughs at them when they fall for it.

How can anyone live like this?

People who worship the all mighty God do not receive any powers...why would a worshiper of some other mythical creature receive them? God doesnt exist, therefore Satan cannot exist.

Sometimes... I've been to places in central america that practice witchcraft and have powers to put curses, sometimes even kill people. However, the power that you have worshipping Jesus far surpasses any power Satan has. I've known missionaries in Africa that have been able to heal sick and dying people...

Satan is the "father of lies", but has little power to spare any to his followers.
Jesus Christ, on the other hand is "truth" and has all the power in the universe, plenty to help you with. I'll pray for you to get on the right side of life.

Worshipping gods or demons won't get you any power.

The real power comes from the money.
