Because it's easier to say something to someone hiding behind a keyboard and saying something one would never have the courage to say to the other person's face.

They are determined to make your life miserable and don't want to stand up to any criticism. They don't really care about us, they are just whining about some disappointment in their little lives.
They feel secure in speaking out about anything, no matter how foolish it may sound, because they know that you can't reach them.
