I wouldn't do it: your body is spending enough energy trying to combat the illness without being "surcharged". Wait till you feel better.

You can do what u want when u are sick but why would you want to lift weights at that time when u can do it when you feel well one or two days of loss wont hurt you and you and you only will suffer the consequinces when u know your body is not up to doing this.tomorrow is another day

I wouldn't suggest it because your body is already weak and you may end up stopping your workout early because you don't have the strength. So it defeats the purpose. You might as well give yourself a rest until you feel better.

if yr sick let yr body heal first. if you still want to do something exercise without the use of weights. try some low key toning. read tips on some really good exercises on this site
