2 and a half years ago I moved from maryland to ohio, leaving behind the love of my life to finish school. We never lost touch with each other but ventured into new relationships. We finally spent time together this past weekend and I realized what a big mistake it was to move. But I've now got a son and a great job. I want to spend the rest of my life with this man but am torn as to what to do. He can't of course come to ohio because he has his boys that he does not have full custody of and that would just move him to far away. This is my first big "adult" job, and I'm afraid stubility wise to just pick up and leave. But I love him and its killing me to be so far away. We've been visiting as often as we can but its no longer enough. Any advise?

Life is what happens while you're busy making plans! If you're both committed to being together, you need to come up with a short-term plan as well as a long-term plan.

Write down the pros & cons of each until you both agree on the best course of action. Because now there is not only yourselves to consider, but your respective children and of course your new career.

You are led through your lifetime
by the inner learning creature,
the playful spiritual being that is your real self.
Don’t turn away from possible futures
before you’re certain you don’t have
anything to learn from them.
You’re always free to change your mind
and choose a different future, or a different past.
Richard Bach

I’ve shut the door on yesterday
And thrown the key away-
Tomorrow holds no fears for me,
Since I have found today.

Love is a profound feeling of tender affection for or intense attraction to another. It is considered a deep, ineffable feeling shared in passionate or intimate interpersonal relationships. However, in different contexts, the word love has a variety of related but distinct meanings: in addition to romantic love, which is characterized by a mix of emotional and sexual desire, other forms include Platonic love, religious love, familial love, and the more casual application of the term to anyone or anything that one considers strongly pleasurable, enjoyable, or desirable, including activities and foods. This diverse range of meanings in a single word is commonly contrasted with the plurality of Greek words for love, reflecting the word's versatility and complexity.

Although clearly and consistently defining love is a difficult task, and often a subject of much debate, different aspects of the word can be clarified by determining what isn't "love". As a general expression of positive sentiment (a stronger form of like), love is commonly contrasted with hate (or neutral apathy); as a less sexual and more "pure" form of romantic attachment, love is commonly contrasted with lust; and as an interpersonal relationship with romantic overtones, love is commonly contrasted with friendship, though other definitions of the word love may be applied to close friendships in certain contexts

POEMS*

The curve of your hips
Is stuck in my mind
The taste of your lips
So sweet that I find
Myself lost in the thought
Of our next embrace
I see now I'm caught
Without even a chase

I love your dark eyes,
And your curly hair,
I love your smile,
And the way that you care.

I love your deep kisses,
I love your soft touch,
I love you, I love you,
I love you so much.

You make me feel special,
You make me feel new,
You make me feel loved,
With everything you do.

You hold me close when I am sad.
You wipe the tears from my face.
Every time we are together,
It seems like the perfect place.

My eyes light up when you enter a room.
I smile when we are together.
No matter how bad things are,
You always make them better.

I love the way you kiss me,
The way you hold me tight.
I love the way you touch me,
I could be with you all night.

I love the way you can make me laugh
For absolutely no reason at all.
I love how no matter what I do,
You will be there to catch me when I fall.

I just want you to know,
That even though we sometimes fight,
I will always love you!
No matter what, day or night.

move on, for the sake of your child and his kids. It will get too complicated being a blended family, believe me, I know. If it was meant to be, he and you can wait once the kids are older. Sorry, but love is not enough.
