Hey there, I'm starting my senior year in high school and I've already noticed this girl that I sort of like. She's new to my high school and I think she only has one new friend so far. If I can get to know her a little better, maybe I would be interested in asking her out because she seems nice. She sits beside me and infront of me in 2 of my classes and I've only said a few words to her. How could I get off to a good friendly start with her and see how things go from there? I'm just not sure how I could do that because she always seems to be around another girl who has become her new friend and is showing her around the school. I'm a fairly good looking guy so I don't think there are any turn off's for me to worry about, but I don't want to be a stalker or anything :P just some simple tips would be appreciated, Thanks

Keep in mind, I'm not sure if I can ask her for lunch or anything like that because she's always hanging around her new friend here. I know her friend Stephanie who is nice but I think she would be on to me if I approached when she was with her :P

Just be direct and dont try to hide that you would like to be friends. Introduce yourself, she will appreciate that, especially if she's new. =)

Be confident but not cocky. You sound like a cool guy, so I am sure that she would appreciate having a new friend.
Just don't try to do the "too cool thing" that guys do. It may attract her, but if it does, you don't want her. There is nothing better that you can do besides being plain nice. Anyone decent will appreciate that.
Invite her and your mutual friend to a group setting type thing. You can get close to her without making it look to obvious. Then it's downhill from there. I have a feeling things will just fall into place. Don't sit around and wait though, someone else will grab her!

Keep a close but stealthy eye... this girl Stephenie can't stick around 24/7. Maybe before one of the classes u have with her, u can catch her alone.

Start a casual, friendly conversation about the class or anything general. Then slip in a complement. She'll feel u'r interested and u can go from there...

:) Good luck!
