i wouldn't do it.... I work at a bank and i see it everyday where some one is being scammed.. They loose all there money.. You should go to your bank and tell them that you got this check and you think it is a scam and ask them what you should do.. I have had ppl deposit it and wait for it to come back counterfeit.. DO NOT send them any money..

I also won the Switzerland Lottery. I got the check last Saturday. My check was for $2990.00. I have researched this and it is a scam!!!!!! I called the bank and they said that it was an active account but on other places that I have went to after the check is deposited, the check clears then they find that the check is a fake. All the money that has been spent has to be replaced. On another site they ask you to send some money via western union after the check has cleared the bank. You send the money and you lose the money that has been sent and all the money that was deposited into the bank. Don't deposit that check.

First of all, if you didn't enter the lottery, you can't have won it.

Second, many countries (including the United States) make participation in a foreign lottery a crime for their citizens.

Third, the details you gave are obviously a scam, as other responders have pointed out.

You bet it's a scam-just ignore it and don't answer it. Once you deposit that check, they take that amount of money from your account and you never see it again. You get stuck with a worthless check.

It's a scam. And for future references if you need to send money to recieve a prize of money or if you need to purchase something in order to recieve it, it is mostlikely a scam. I was once told I won $5,000 but I need to buy $500 in hair products or carpet cleaning supply in order to recieve the $5,000. I did not fall for it.

keep the money and beat them at their own scam...after awhile they'll give it up. Take the letter to the Postal Inspector, and HOMELAND SECURITY.
BUT, .....keep the money!

yes it is a scam. they want you to tell them all of your bank info and then they will clean out your bank account leaving you with nothing. a friend of mine bought into this line and she is still paying for it, and this was probably 4 years ago, and we all told her it was a scam.
several people here have told you it is a scam, trust us.
