I know I am still a virgin and I am going to stay that way until one I get married or until the day I die. About the question about God blessing the marriages of people that wait, I believe that with all of my heart, because first before we get married, we should get to know ourselves better first, then we will be able to understand and even love the other person in the marriage a whole lot better than when we rushed into things on impulse.

I was once that naive and thought if I waited until I got married that God would bless me more. But that wasn't the case. My husband and I were virgins and got married when I was 22, and he was 24. I attended and was very vocal in all the sexual purity talks my church put on, even after I was married. Well, we had trouble in that department, and realized we didn't have any sexual chemistry together. Coupled with other problems, he left me.
Now how did being a virgin bless me? Does God not see us pure and spotless through the blood of Jesus, no matter our sins, including sexual sins? Do you think He would limit His blessings on non-virgins? How you limit the power of God in this way. It is this rhetoric that turns people off from Christianity, including myself who was raised in the church and was shunned because my husband divorced me. Now, what did I do to deserve that?

I waited until I was married (a little over a year ago) and don't regret the decision for a moment. It's a beautiful thing sharing something that intimate with only my husband.
That said, God is free to forgive and to bless whatever He chooses to forgive and to bless; God's blessings are not dependent on our perfection in & of ourselves. If that was the case, no one would ever be blessed.

I am not a virgin. But now I am determined to wait until marriage again. However, I fully know that God will bless my marriage. He is very loving and forgiving. He is a God of second chances.

What God do you believe in? This is the most mixed-up thing I have ever heard.
So if 2 people have sex before they get married....they have 3 children who they love...they honor & respect their marriage & their family.....they are married until one of them dies 50 years later.....your "god" would not bless this union? Poppycock!!!!
This is one reason why there are atheist.

Not only does religion do tremendous harm in the world..but it also inhibits pleasure. Look at you people...you think sex..a natural and beautiful thing is sinful.
There needs to be more sex going on...for the sake of all that is good..please go have safe sex with someone..preferably someone uglier than you if you really want to make people happy.

Do you know that god only accepts answers from people who know how to use proper English grammar?
Get some education, then come back for another tongue-lashing, child!

I agree, if you wait to get married it shows a that yu are patient and will (hopefully) be more fgaithful than someone who lost their virginity before they were married.
