Do u mean squint,strabismus[deviation of one or both eyes]?
If yes ,squint may be true or pseudostrabismus.Pseudostrabismus may be inwards due toepicanthus,high myopia,narrow interpupillary distance[inwards]If outwards it is due to high hypermetropia,wide interpupillary distance.True squint may be latent ormanifest,latent squint is due to uncorrected errors of refraction,weakness of one or more of extraocular ms or due to overstraining of the eyes.Manifest squint is either paralytic,concommitent or kinetic.Paralytic squint is due to lower motor neurone lesion affecting ocular motor nuclei,ocular motor nerves or extraocular ms paralysis.Concomittant squint is due to errors of refraction,defective vision in one eye [amblyopia],weakness of extraocular ms,central defect or even idiopathic.I hope I could help.

Strength of muscles controlling the direction that the eye is looking is unbalanced. Can be corrected by laser treatment to cut some of the muscle to even up the balance.

i think its because they cross their eyes too much so eventually it starts to be that way naturally. im not exactly 100% sure, but thats what i have heard.

My sis is cross eyed when she wakes up in the morning... its v.funny but they straighten up once she's fully awake... i think she gets it from my dad lol!... family trait... But i dunno why people are cross- eyed originally
