Or would you apologize and beg forgiveness?

If I met god, I would ask him why he didn't answer me the time that, at 15 years of age, I knelt down and begged him to help restore my faith. I told him I wanted nothing more than to be a good Christian, but my faith was slipping away. I prayed and begged for him to help me.

I'd be curious as to why he allowed someone so devoted to him to slip into atheism, no matter how unwillingly. And I'd then be curious as to why he was sending me to hell for it.

Am I angry at god for this? Nope. God doesn't exist. I know that now. But boy, that sure was a hard pill to swallow after having been ingrained with it since birth...

Faced with irrefutable proof, I would choose to beg, plead and grovel, ......then tell some lame jokes, do a quick soft shoe and maybe a prat fall for the big ending.

If God exists He HAS to have a sense of humor! There is no other accounting for humanity.

What if I met God and Jesus and they looked at me with askance that I spent a good bit of my life making fun of them and blaspheming. Yeah, I'd apologize, I'd admit my error, and ask if there was anything I could do to make right on it. I'd give them the same courtesy I'd give any person. BEG though? No. Apologize yes.

Yes. I absolutely, thruly believe that, were I to come face to face with God, Jesus and the Gang I would say, "I still don't believe in you," and walk away.

"’Once you start paddlin’ with the occult you start believing in spirits, and when you start believing in spirits you start believing in demons, and then before you know where you are you’re believing in gods. And then you’re in trouble.’
‘But all them things exist,’ said Nanny Ogg.
‘That’s no call to go around believing in them. It only encourages ‘em.’"

For me, god as he has been presented to me, should he really exist, is not a god I'd even consider admiring, much less worshiping, no matter what he can do to me.

If, however a god exists that is not like the one presented to me, then he'd be cool, like "I wouldn't worship that asshole either," and we'd grab a beer. If he's not cool, once again, screw him.

Not to a god who, as described to me by some Christians, would forgive Charles Manson if her were to become "saved" but would let Mother Theresa burn in hell if she were not saved.
I can only conclude that such a god is a sociopathic narcissist and I want to part of that.

Of course. I might even spit on them, if I still had a body. Just about everything that is wrong with western society today comes from their teachings.
How about yourself? If you are wrong, and have interpreted their message incorrectly, would you stand for your beliefs, or beg forgiveness for inflicting pain and suffering on undeserving innocents?

I would flip out if I saw God and Jesus. I may just be in fear. But I do not approve of what God did in the Bible or in the world. If he wanted my respect, he would have to come up with some serious explanations. If God knows how I feel, I wouldn't have to cuss him out, he would know.

If your god and Jesus are real, I have to go be hot forever, so I'll probably be grumpy and in no mood to apologize. I also don't think that females grow balls after death, so probably not...

I don't know. Maybe?

What if you are wrong, and the one true god is Marduk, not YHWY, would you bow down and beg for forgiveness?

I wouldn't apologize, I'd ask him that if he truely loved me why would he make it so difficult for me to believe in him. I'd also tell him that thousands of people are burning in hell for not believing in him - how could he let that happen?! All those souls are on his head
