I saw this question right now(Are there any guys in this world who like girls for the RIGHT reasons??) and thought this girl is dumb. It's why do girls go for the dumb guys? What do they expect if the guys they date they find at a bar. The good guys are the ones studying at home to become someone then just waste time at a bar. So next time a girl wants to find a good guy look for the guy in the library reading a book not the frat boy chugging a beer.

This is such a generalized question, kind of like "why are all the good ones taken, or why do men only want one thing?" People are people, good and bad. We all make horrible choices one time or another. Girls go for the wrong guys in my opinion (generally) because they like the excitement, or they don't feel they deserve better, or they just like the attention they are getting for the time they are getting it. They think with their heart and not their head GENERALLY, therefor making decisions based on a chemical reaction.
Also, I think women GENERALLY choose men for the wrong reason. We all know the woman who wants to get married, or become a father to her kids, or satisfy her lonely nights. So they pick the one that fits the bill or so they think. They don't wait patiently to find Mr. Right, only Mr. Right NOW then they get upset because he turns out to be like all the other loser Mr. Right Nows.

I go out to the bar and drink fairly regularly, but I wouldn't call myself a drunken frat boy. To say that all guys who go out and enjoy a drink are dumb is just as stupid as saying that all girls date dumb guys, or that all guys like girls for the wrong reasons. The fact is that people like who they like, they don't really get to choose who those people are...unless of course they don't really like them (in which case it would be for the wrong reasons). Simply because I like to drink doesn't mean that I'm not becoming someone. I have a very good job, I play in four bands, I write for around two hours a day, and I read at least two books a week. Staying at home and studying all the time is a great way to burn yourself out...sometimes it is completely acceptable to go and relax by hanging out with friends and meeting new people. I understand what you are saying, I just ask that you be careful not to generalize...much like the girl that annoyed you so much did. Everyone is different, and it is not safe to say that they are anything other than themselves just because they belong to a specific group of people.

Sometimes the reason is because if a girl finds a nice guy and then breaks up with him because she isn't ready for a serious relationship, it makes her look bad. It's easier if she can blame the guy. We don't do this on purpose, it's mostly unconscious, and it doesn't explain why a lot of women stay hooked up with jerks. It's just a partial explanation.

Frat guys have generally a higher GPA than those not in a fraternity. Sorry but it's true. And fraternity brothers might know how to let loose and have fun more than the average college book worm

Who said those are the right guys ?? I believe every guy that is given the chance will screw it up. If the guy that hangs out in the library gets that gorgeous girl, you know what happens ?? He gets real full of himself and wonders if he can get better. All you guys are the same. I'm a great girl and I have hung out in bars way more than libraries.

I DO NOT KNOW BUT IF YOU FIND OUT LET ME KNOW! I'm aways finding the wrong man. I'm tiered of the son of a guns all they know how to do is lie! They need to live up to what they ask and say or shut up once and for all. Their all a like a bunch stupid idiots that lie all the time!!!!!!!

My man is nice and not boring. people like a challenge and guys who are dumb are a challenge. I have had my share of dumb guys and wound up getting rid of them. Everyone is different but this is just my opinion.
