How does he look depressed? Is he just bored? Does he want to play? or go for a walk? Do something with him, maybe a little obedience just for fun to stimulate his mind, then play with him and he won't look depressed any more. He wants companionship!

i AM FOURTEEN YEARS OLD AND I KNOW POSIBLY EVERYTHING U COULD KNOW ABOUT A DOG YORKIES ARE VERY ENERGETIC THEY OFTEN GET DEPRESSED WHEN THEY DO NOT HAVE ROOM TO RUN AROUND AND EXCERSIZE. IT COULD ALSO BE THAT ( IF HAVE ) MAYBE YOU WERE SPENDING TONS OF QUALITY TIME WITH HIM/HER AND NOW U HAVE A NEW JOB OR SOMETHING, AND ARE UNABLE TO SPEND THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME. IT IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOUR YORKIE GETS TAKEN TO THE VET. IF THE PET IS NOT TAKING THE CORRECT TIMES A YEAR 2-4 TIMES FOR CHECKUPS AND WAT NOT UR DOG COULD BE FOUND TO BE SICK. = ( REMEMBER NOT TO GET CARRIED AWAY WITH THE FACT OF HIM BEING UPSET EITHER. LIKE A LITTLE KID U MIGHT WANT TO BY HIM / HER A NEW TOY ("DONT!") IF YOU DO SO THE DOG MAY FEEL THAT IT'S RIGHT TO BE UPSET BUT IT IS NOT. ANOTHER THING IS FOOD YOUR DOGS STOMACH MAY BE UPSET IF U CHANGE DOG FOODS. MAKE SURE THAT THE FOOD U FEED UR DOG HAS NO BY-PRODUCTS AND ARE EASY TO DIGEST.

How old is your Yorkie, how long have you had him, have there been any changes in your routine, have you changed his diet. Could he be sick, dogs don't know how to tell you how he feels, so maybe a trip to his vet is what you need to do.Good luck , hope he's not sick.

i have experience with animals. i would give him all the attention he needs . take him on a walk. buy him new toys. if that doesn't work. maybe you should take him to the vet. just to make sure he isn't sick.

take him to the vet, he might be sick. if he is not sick maybe you just need to play with him. that always cheers my dog up.
