yes we need reassurance when we think the girl is special and we don't want to do something stupid and loose her.
physically means sex, yes. the next time he talks about being physical kiss him long and hard and straddle him. he should get the idea that you are ready too,

Yes, guys need reassurance just like women do. Especially when a guy is serious about a girl and he has agreed to take things slow. He wants to make sure you know he respects that agreement and is only going to speed things up when and if your ready. You two need to talk and revisit exactly what kind of relationship you two have and where you want it to go and at what speed. This guy doesn't want to mess things up so he wants to make sure you both agree about taking things to the next level.

In a word YES! men are physical and the fact that he could hold off for a year is shocking. Possibly he is nervous and does not know how to proceed to the next level. if this is the case start the process for him.......example: set something up like arrange to be alone with him, start kissing and either let your hands do the talking or take off clothing.
that would do the trick nicely

If you've known each other for a year, then yeah move things on...he's probably waiting for you to give him the "ok" to take it on to the next level, and if he has deeper feelings for you, then yes he would probably want sex in there too....but he's probably going at your pace.

Yes, maybe not reassure him, but tell him point blank. Most guys miss the signals women send in relationships so it is best to be straight forward and let him know.

Yes, we need reassurance; especially the really nice guys. And yes, he wants to start having sex with you, or at least a more intimate [like foreplay] relationship. However, since you too seem to want to have sex with him, why don't you just surprise him with wearing something really sexy, with a big thick robe covering it, and a large ribbon holding it closed, with a tag on it that reads, "To... From...", and tell him, "I hope you like this gift I got for you." : )

No two relationships are ever alike. You have to go w/ your 'gut' feeling when it comes to doing whats right. Never place anything on a time table. It only builds aggravation. Always go w/ the flow.
The only time you should ever place anything on a time table is if and when you get married. Everything else should fall in place by itself. Never force it and it will happen on its own.

Hey, Hot Stuff, I'll tell you the same thing I say to everyone: don't ley anyone--including your significant other- rush your feelings. Only YOU know how you feel, and that includes the physical aspects. Good luck, dear.

If you feel the need to speed things up, just do it, there is not better advise than the one that comes from inside ourselves
