Faith is being fully convinced, persuaded, without a shadow of a doubt that something can exist, without seeing it first.

That is a tough one.. there are many ways a person can answer that... one is that the word faith would have various uses; its central meaning is similar to "belief", "trust" or "confidence", but unlike these terms, "faith" tends to imply a transpersonal rather than interpersonal relationship – with God or a higher power.

Another simpler answer to that tough question is that of a person who would define faith as the firm belief in something for which there is no proof

each day faith enters our lives. after we awaken we've self belief that a sparkling day has began. we've self belief that our vehicle will initiate and take us to artwork. we've self belief that we will be fed and that we will go back back to our houses and that the mattress that we lie in received't fall out from lower than us. So----faith is what we've not yet considered and what we've wish for. And, we both have self belief that God is the following and loves us or that there is not any answer except ourselves. I have discovered that no be counted how a lot faith I have in myself, or any of the different issues that I have stated, besides God, all of them can fail.

Truth. Don't want to be told lies. Hate liars and pagan customs told as truth.
Faith should be based on facts and knowledge and understanding not some superstitious belief in something that is not real.
Muslims are told they will receive 70 virgins and they believe it.
that doesn't make it true. Christians have some lies they tell.
that doesn't make them true either.

I think that faith is belief in things you can't see. Whether it be in an aspect about a person that you have faith in or that you have faith you'll win your volleyball tournament. The point is its something you can't touch but you hold your breath and hope that its true or will happen.

I think that faith means to have trust in God's Judgment and not loose hope. To know that God hasn't abandoned you and that everything will come into place sooner or later.
To resist despair and evil and still believe in judgment and doing the right thing.

In the context of religion, 'faith' is nothing more than wishful, magical thinking. It is the insubstantial, ephemeral cloud upon which 'belief' is based. 'Faith' is a substitute for facts and evidence... 'belief' is a substitute for knowledge. Faith + belief = delusion.

As a spiritualist my faith is strong , I have something to hold on to , something that takes away my fears and doubts , something to answer my never ending “whys “ .
But by saying this I am in no means trying to convert everyone who reads this, as we all have free will and the choices we make are the ones that are good for us, spiritualism just happens to be right for me .
however ...Faith isn’t about religion , it’s about finding something you believe in , something to give you strength to go on when all else fails.

What is true faith? Faith is defined as “belief and trust in and loyalty to God; … firm belief in something for which there is no proof.” 2 We believe that “faith is to hope for things which are not seen, but which are true … , and must be centered in Jesus Christ.” In fact, we believe that “faith in Jesus Christ is the first principle of the gospel.”
