His name is Jim Philp (not sure if its James) think he is originaly from Steps near Glasgow but worked as a lorry driver so could be anywhere?? I am Leanne, 25 years old from Paisley not sure what age he is -roughly 50-65.

have you looked on friends reunited? do you know anymore about him? schools for example. has he any relatives you know about? i know its hard when you only have a name, thats all i had to go on with my dad.
is his name on your birth certificate? if so you could call the registrar to try and find some info
