This is something you should ask a pharmacist or doctor. Preferably one that works in a hospital. Pharmacists that work at a local Walgreens, Osco, or Walmart, etc., really don't deal with bicarb or dialysis patients and treatment. Call a local hospital pharmacy and ask them. We get calls all the time from people who have questions about medication.

Ask when you are there or call your doctor's office. You tread such a fine line when it comes to your health under these circumstances you NEED a professionals advice.
This is not like you are asking about paint color or dating or bra sizes...ask them that is what they are for.
