I've heard from several sources it was, but was reincarnation ever a part of the Biblical writings in history?

Not in the the New or Old Testament.

However, it was a main part of many ancient texts that were left out if the Bible particularly at the council of nicea (those guys really did a number on us)

This type of information completely pisses off modern Christians who will deny this till the cows come home. Think of it if, if you spent your WHOLE life wrapped in one religion and suddenly a major change threatens it, your are going to deny it, alter it, try to prove it wrong, call every one heathens, call it the work of the devil, or anything to protect your old comfortable way of thinking.

Reincarnation is what we are doing now.
Resurrection is what we can do in the future (The master Jesus was to lead the way and put it in our path for us to do)

Now here comes all the negative votes!

hello:}
it was mentioned in the bible from Jesus"s own mouth ,but because the bible was altered during the rein of Julian all references of reincarnation were taken out [but they did let slip a few words here and there that are open to interpreting .
Jesus said before "Abraham so was I." do you not recognize me "he also referred to john the Baptist in a past tense also ,,,but like all written words people will and do interpret it to fit their own beliefs and thoughts it is the way of man .
but the bible was altered [not to say all truths are lost ]but the people were unrepentant and uncontrollable when reincarnation was thought to be the "way" so they did not fear there souls perishing like they do now ,,having many lives to live indeed can make some types very nonchalant about their present lives .
but to me when i think and study on reincarnation it makes me extremely responsible for my deeds and actions for what we reap we sow and if we are hateful and cruel we WILL indeed have that visited upon us on another lifetime .i for one don't want to go through hell every time i come to this earth .
study up on it and get a sense of it it indeed is a fascinating subject .

Reincarnation may have been mentioned in the Bible as something that's a fallacy.

No.
Hebrews 10:27-28
"it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes the judgment, so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him." NASB

Read the bible; and as you do so ask God to give you wisdom. Ask more questions and check them against what is in the bible.

Hope this helps.

It was part of early Christian teachings among certain sects. They agreed to have God change His mind about it in exchange for several others sects agreeing to have God change His mind about women having no souls. Once they had decided what God should say they rewrote scripture to reflect their decisions. That was done again in the fifth century when the Bishop of Rome had God promote him to Vicar of Christ on Earth and give him rule over all Christians everywhere.

No, it's not.

We are not "reincarnated." When we (born again Christians) die, we will go to Heaven. We will no longer have our earthly bodies. Our Spirit will live for eternity with the living God.

Grace and God / Jesus bless!

No. The Bible teaches that we only live once.

---------------------------
Hebrews 9:27-28(NIV)
Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people;

Not a scholar, but there is a verse that says "It is destined that men only die once, and after that comes judgment." (not sure where it is)
