i go to a small middle school with only like 400 people. How can i make more friends? Most people in my class are really loud and funny and me and a couple of other people are pretty shy.....so i feel really stupid

7th grade was awful. I was picked on because I was shy and a book worm. My one best friend moved to a different school.
Once I hit High School it got so much better. You meet people in school sports and activities. The people that hate school take all the easy classes. The harder level classes are people that want to go to college and are more serious about school.
Make more friends in 7th:
Try to play a band instrument -some middle schools have music programs.
Join summer community softball team (or some kind of sport)
don't worry too much, it will get way better once you reach High School.

When you hit middle school its the first time you get to sort of reinvent yourself. You are no longer with the same small group that you've know since Kindergarten.
Enjoy it. Don't be afraid to speak up, speak out, speak often.
Try out new clubs and sports teams. Volunteer so you meet people from other schools.
You can always become someone different in high school.

well I lived in salt lake and then i had to move to a different town and it was not fun 4 me . I had no friends and i was having problems with stuff and then i got moved out of the middle of nowwhere and i had to go to 7th grade with no best friend noone to talk to. I was really upset but it got down to the middsle of the year and i started makling friends so it wasnt the bad in the middle but the first of the year SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!

This year was the best for me because this is the year i made most of my friends!!! There might fun times and there might be stupid times.

I hated grades 6 thru 8. My junior high school was in a bad neighborhood and I was bullied a lot. I even had to bring a small knife w/ me to school on occasion.

I hated it The school I went to was a Catholic school in MD. It was so cliquish and most of the girls were so stuck up. Rich snobs! .I liked high school a lot more. It was tougher, but I had a lot more friends.

I had a generally good time. I made too many promises and lost the student council elections. I didn't realize that I had bipolar mania because who in their right mind promised a swimming pool to be built in the cafeteria?

i have to say that i loved 7th grade so much memories wit my friends..it was the best year of school for me and also 8th it was also graduation year
