Evolution IS far more possible (and almost proven without a doubt) than the Creation as the Bible would put it.
But so what? That doesn't disprove the existence of God, and nothing ever will. How do we know that God didn't create the world through evolution which may very well force us to look AWAY from His direction, but those who are faced with such facts STILL believe in Him? THAT, my friends, is faith. :)

All the wonder in the world? The intelligent design of the human eye? The colors of the world, flowers, the food chain? All this from a big bang?
The amazing way the weather works? The human body functions?
And, to have an organism, all parts must be present at one time. In other words, a cell can't be a cell without all the other parts being present.
The world is just too wonderful and amazing to have just evolved. Besides, how can all this have come from fire in the universe? Life from fire????? No, it's God.

Try this....let's say there's a big pile of wood, nails, wiring, and other material that's used to build a nice home and all this material is thrown into a gigantic bowl. No matter how much you spin, shake, rattle the bowl, will it ever become a house? The odds are impossible. Now think of the same example using human DNA atoms.
Seems to me that intelligent design has quite a play into making things happen, no?

but look at things this way, if you believe in records and the Bible was a record of the past then there has to be truth to it and for evidence take a look at the dead sea scrolls. they dont rule out the fact of an omniscient being. for evolution to occur there had to be a beginning and that omniscient being explains the beginning.

Genesis says that God created the world an in seven days. Evolution says that it took billions of years. But maybe one of God's days IS billions of years long. Believing in evolution doesn't exclude the possibility of a higher power.
I'm an agnostic, BTW, so I'm not preaching.

A lot of Christians I've talked to recently claim that there is room for both evolutionary theory and creationism. However, this would require a particular interpretation of the bible, a rather far-fetched interpretation in my opinion. Natural evolution seems more likely to me.

I agree. I'm a scientist. Evolution has been scientifically verified. It makes sense. The mere fact that different people believe in different gods (Greeks, Incas, Christians, Hindus, Moslems, Jews) is evidence to me that they are ALL wrong (if not, which one is right?). There is no supreme being (I know thats a bit unsettling to all of you who need to believe in something). Time to wake up ...

We can't know if there is a God or not. Personally, I believe in God, but I'm an Agnostic. I also believe in Evolution and I don't see why they have to be mutually exclusive. It's very limited thinking.

I wil go with evolution, seems more logical to me. Besides, "Believe in this because the God says to" never really worked for me anyway.
