recently relocating to the Central Florida area, during the move I lost my wallet.I have been to the DMV and turned away for lack of a birth cert. I have been turned away from the SS office to get a duplicate card for lack of a photo ID, I can't get a birth cert. with out a photo ID, I am in a vicious circle or a catch 22, with no help or word of advise from the above agencies, they all just look at me sympatheticaly, shaking their heads, and say.."I know, I know..."What can I do, where can I go? I need to get a job, and can not because of lack of identity.

Why can't you get a drivers license replacement from your original state? It might be worth a try. Also, why not replace your birth certificate? A call to a few different agencies will produce some results. You're certainly not the only one who's gone through something like this.

WRITE TO THE BUREAU OF VITAL STATISTICS IN THE STATE, CITY AND COUNTY
WHERE YOU WERE BORN - AND FOR A FEW BUCKS, THEY WILL SEND YOU
A CERTIFIED BIRTH CERTIICATE AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO PROVE
ANYTHING TO GET ONE.
