The love of my life is my child and would definately die to save her life. What use is the heart if it's broken by losing her.

maybe for my children...but even then...if it's a persons time to go...it's their time....i am a donor though...if i die and they can use my organs to save other peoples life...i'm all for that...i think though that if the love of my life was dieing...if he loved me enough, he wouldn't even ask me for my heart...tough question

The only person I would donate my heart to save would be one of my children. Husbands, boyfriends, friends sorry but no only my kids.

Yes, I would. I believe most of us would give our lives for a loved one. I don't think the love of my life would agree to it though. No one wants to live because a loved one died.

I would, but that wouldn't make it happen. No doctor would ever agree to do this. In a more realistic situation, say, taking a bullet for a loved one? Sure I would. Mind you, my "loved ones" may not be who you think they are. They're not my family, that's certain.

I would do it for my own sake, but I think my love would have her own issues with it. I would rather feel good about helping her as I died than feel bad living without her, but it would bother her knowing I died for her. She would probably take me up on it so she could stay alive to take care of her son, though.

I would say yes, definitely.

But the one I love would not want to live without me,
and would refuse my heart, even if it meant his death.
