Nope. The bible was written by a bunch of people and then edited by another group under the rule of Constantine. It is contradictory almost all the time. it is taken out of context too often. People use it to justify whatever they want rather than relying on their own morals. It should be used as what it is: A book of complied stories. If you choose to use it as moral guidelines here are some nice tidbits:

The Bible mandates child abuse:
Deuteronomy 21:18-21 "If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son...
Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city... And all the men of his city shall stone him
with stones, that he die..."

The Bible degrades motherhood, marriage, and women's reproductive functions:
Numbers 31:17-35 "Virgins" are war booty
Deuteronomy 22:28 Unmarried rape victim must marry her rapist

Rape and Baby Killing:
Isaiah 13:15-18 "Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children"

And a countless number of contradictions.

Anyway, you shouldn't rely on some book to tell you how to live or when to marry or make you feel like a bad person. You should rely on your own morals and judgment!

No, because not being married does not keep most people from having sex anymore.
