I don't think there is a set age. People who are closer in age may be able to get along because they experienced the same things ( IE-they were both teenagers during the depression or they both remember listening to the Beatles). When one partner is a lot older than the other one, the older partner may act like a parent (deliberately or not) and a power struggle may occur. I don't know.....

Actually age has nothing to get along well in marriage relations- but the difference should certainly not run into decades as in some cases coz then loyalty amd morality questions do arise!

my wife and I are 11 years apart, I'm just not mature enough for a woman my own age, I think the man should be older so the maturity level can be balanced.

if you are of legal age shouldn't matter as long as the two of you get along and feel good about each other.

we cannot take any year diff b'coz understanding is the most imp thing. the age may be same or 1,2 years diff or might be even 10, 15 years

frankly speaking there should be ay least3- 5 years difference male being the older one to have a long lasting relation
